My main concern in this class is working with groups. I am
not keen on working in groups. I feel like I work a lot better by myself. I don’t
feel like my grade should be a refection of others work ethic. I have been in positions
where working in groups have been successful, and other times working within a
group has been disastrous. My
grade should be a refection of my work, and no one elses. If a group project is done, there is
really no way to know who did what work, and who did no work. I really have no other major concerns
about this class. I am quite fond of the learning style, and only having to
come to class one day a week. I like the blogging, and I think this is a good
way to learn. For my self anyway.
I can see where you have a concern. I have an unconformable feeling in groups to. I like group work. Just not major grade group work. I love the blogging to. I also agree about that this is a great way to learn. Always enjoy your work!
ReplyDeleteI too have issues with working in groups! I have no problem with working as a team, I just have problems with slackers and people not wanting to carry their own weight.I see my grade as my money and when I am not payed because another person did not perform their job it rubs me the wrong way. Fortunately for us Simone we are in the same group. So it is good to know that we share the same view of this.
ReplyDeleteI have the same concern with the group thing also. I'll rather alone then with a group. Some people don't do their share and you'll have to do their share but they'll still get a good grade and they didn't do anything. So I just totally agree with you on that.
ReplyDeleteI feel ya on the group thing. Alot of people are slackers and don't do there part. It can be very stressful for the ones who do there part
ReplyDeleteYeah i am more working alone than the group,but there is a plus side to being in a group. You and your partners will have a great time socializing with each other about the project or anything for that matter.Also a whole bunch of brainstorming will be going around when you are in a group;lots of ideas popping out the head. That is all I got to say.
